Scarborough Castle 27th to 29th July

Here are some of the photos from the Scarborough Castle event. It was an excellent weekend with a large display including a radio display and landing craft training exercise. Click on each photo to see it in full size.

'The Army in York' Open Day

Some members of the group put on a display and participated in a battle at 'The Army in York' Open Day at Imphal Barracks, Fulford York. The East Yorks saved the day and won the battle!

30 June/1 July - Barkby, Leicestershire

June 30th - 1st July - "The Build Up" held at Barkby, Leicestershire. Here are some photos from the event.

Bussum Bridgehead, Holland. May 5th

These photo's were taken on the 5th May in Bussum Town centre and in the camp which is a dutch army training ground hence the ruins. This event celebrates the liberation of the town by British forces. Group members Hayden and Bill made the trip in a jeep.

23rd June Royal Armouries Leeds

The East Yorks, presenting Infantry and ATS uniform variations from 1939 to 1945, was one of a number of reenactment groups attending Veterans Day at the Leeds Royal Armouries to celebrate the contribution made by all those who have served in the Armed Forces and also the Merchant Navy and Fishing Fleets who have served in support of operations.
