Bussum Bridgehead, Holland. May 5th

These photo's were taken on the 5th May in Bussum Town centre and in the camp which is a dutch army training ground hence the ruins. This event celebrates the liberation of the town by British forces. Group members Hayden and Bill made the trip in a jeep.

23rd June Royal Armouries Leeds

The East Yorks, presenting Infantry and ATS uniform variations from 1939 to 1945, was one of a number of reenactment groups attending Veterans Day at the Leeds Royal Armouries to celebrate the contribution made by all those who have served in the Armed Forces and also the Merchant Navy and Fishing Fleets who have served in support of operations.

16/17th June Operation Musketeer Renishaw Hall

The weather was kinder than forecast, especially on the Sunday, for this inaugural event at Renishaw Hall, near Sheffield. The East Yorkshire Regiment LHG put on an "in the field/re-supply area" scenario for the public along with a display of infantry weapons. Group photo by Tim Benton.






6th June - John Logie Baird Primary School

Here are some images of East Yorkshire Regiment LHG member Michael Lycett doing the school workshops on Wednesday 6th June at the Yorkshire Air Museum. The School was John Logie Baird Primary School from Helensburgh, Scotland. Head Teacher Mr W Miller said: 'We have been visiting York for many years and this is the best school visit we have ever had, the workshops were all to a very high standard'.
